Here are some titles your classmates have recommended and what they have to say about them!
The Book Thief by Markus Zusack
Very interesting, captures you at the very beginning. Also is informative and helps reader understand more about the experiences of people at the time (the holocaust). Very engaging and emotional.
The Real Fight by Chris Lynch
This book is about about man named Roman who plays pro baseball, but he is starting to fail. When the U. S. Joins World War Two, he decides to join the army in a tank. There he finds he is a very skillful driver, and goes to Africa to fight. He becomes very close with the people in his tank, and they win many battles. But then, as the battles get harder, he wonders if he can save his crew, or if he can save himself. I liked this book because it has a lot of action and I like historical fiction books. I would recommend this book to people with these interests.
Fish in a Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt
It is a really sad and interesting book about a girl who is illiterate and how she gets treated by teachers and friends.
